To select cards using their IDs

If you've assigned IDs to your cards, you can select cards by ID rather than name when you enter transactions, if you like. To do this, you must change an option in the Windows view of the Preferences window.

Note:  Card IDs are optional

1. From the Setup menu, choose Preferences. In the Preferences window, click the Windows tab.



2. Mark the option titled Select Items By Item Name, Not Item Number.



3. Click OK.
