In order to enter transaction information in many fields of AccountEdge you must first enter the information in a list. As you do business, for example, you'll normally add entries to your Cards list and your Accounts list.
If the data you want to enter in a transaction field isn't already in a list, you can use Easy-Add to quickly add it to the list and to the transaction you're creating. Then, at your convenience, you can enter additional information to complete the entry. For example, you may want to wait to add the address and contact information for a card file entry until you have the time to verify the accuracy of this information.
Locating the Easy-Add feature
The Easy-Add feature is located in some of the Select From List windows.
The Select from List windows are available throughout the MYOB AccountEdge system. These windows display lists of entries currently in the system so that you can select and enter the information quickly. Examples of Select from Lists include:
Accounts (Easy-Add)
Activities
Cards (Easy-Add in Sales, Purchases and Enter Activity Slips.)
Categories (Easy-Add)
Comments (Easy-Add)
Currency
Custom Lists
Items

How Easy-Add works with certain preferences
The Easy-Add button doesn't appear in the Cards and Accounts Select from List windows if you've marked the corresponding preference selection in the Windows view of the Preferences window:
