To remove elements from a form


 

The Customize window for the form you want to customize must be open. [To customize a form for later use (Setup menu) or To customize a form before sending]

You can remove data and text fields, rectangles, lines and pictures from the foreground of your form; you can also remove a background image that you previously inserted.

Warning!
Forms that don't meet government requirements won't be accepted

You can remove the last item that you inserted by clicking the Undo button in the toolbar at the top of the window. Clicking Undo twice will reinsert the last item. (Note:  Use the "tool tips" when you use the toolbar)

To remove a data or text field, or a line, rectangle or picture

  1. Click the element to be removed and press Backspace or Delete on your keyboard.


    Note:  Deleted fields remain available for use in form layouts
  1. Save your custom form:


To remove a background image from a form

  1. Click the Form Properties button in the toolbar at the top of the Customize window; the Click the Form Properties button to open the Forms Information window.


    Note:  Use the "tool tips" when you use the toolbar
  1. The Form Properties window displays a preview of the graphic you previously selected for this form.


  2. Click the Remove Background button and click OK to return to the Customize window.
