Editing information on Forms W-2 and W-3

After you've finished setting up Forms W-2 and W-3, you'll have a chance to view, edit and finalize your W-2 and W-3 forms, and the related notices and reports, before you start to print or eFile them. You can access all of the features needed to edit and add to information on Forms W-2 and W-3 through the Payroll Form Viewer.

Note:  Changes you make here do not affect the data in your company file

Use the Payroll Form Viewer to edit information in fields on individual W-2 forms before printing or eFiling the forms. This window displays images of your official printed forms. If you prepare W-2 forms for several employees, each employee's W-2 will appear on a separate page in this window.

Fields that don't contain the required information will be highlighted in red on each form. Use the options on the Payroll Tax Form Viewer to add information to these fields.

Note:  You can't eFile or print certified copies of any form until you've entered all required information
