How are Payroll Tax Forms registration codes used?
You can prepare and print certified Federal and state copies of Forms W-2 and W-3 without registering for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service. To gain access to the full suite of MYOB AccountEdge's Payroll Forms features, however, you must obtain and enter Payroll Tax Forms registration codes. If you haven't registered for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service, you'll be prompted to enter a registration code whenever you begin work on any payroll tax form (except Forms W-2 and W-3). To register when the prompt window appears, click Register Online or call the telephone number shown in that window.
If you've already received your codes but haven't entered them yet, click Enter Registration Code when the registration prompt appears. You can also enter registration codes at any time by choosing Enter/Edit Registration Codes from the Company menu on the MYOB Form Viewer window.
Every MYOB Payroll Forms registration code contains six alphabetic and six numeric characters. Enter each code without dashes in the field provided in the Payroll Tax Forms Registration window. Be sure that the correct 9-digit federal taxpayer identification number (EIN) appears in the "Products registered to EIN" field. If you have registered for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service under more than one EIN, you will have to enter and use your registration codes separately for each EIN.
