Even if you saved a transaction's entries as a recurring transaction, you must still click the Record button to record the transaction.
When you save a recurring transaction in the Edit Recurring Schedule window, you return to the original transaction window with your entries still displayed. At this point, you have saved the transaction as a recurring transaction but haven't recorded the transaction.
If you want to record the current entries as a transaction, you must click the Record button. If you don't want to record a transaction at this time, click the Cancel button.
