Registering for MYOB Payroll Forms Service

Registering for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service streamlines the processes of preparing, printing and filing all of your federal and state payroll tax forms.

While you can prepare, print and update certified copies of Forms W-2 and W-3 without registering, you will have to register if you want to print certified copies of any other federal or state payroll tax forms. If you don’t register, you will be able to use these features only in “Demo Mode.” When you work in Demo Mode, you can prepare all of your state and federal forms, but a large watermark will print across each form.

You must also register separately for MYOB’s eFiling services if you plan to eFile payroll tax forms—including W-2s and W-3s—using your MYOB software.

To register for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service

Ensure that your company’s Federal Tax ID number (EIN) is entered in the Company Information window (accessible from the Setup menu) before attempting to register for the Payroll Forms Service.

1	Go to the Payroll command center and click Prepare Payroll Tax Forms. The Select Payroll Tax Form window appears.

2	Click Register. The Registration window appears.

3	Choose how you want to register:

■	If you want to register by telephone, dial the number shown in the registration window. An MYOB representative will take your registration information and provide you with a registration code.

■	If you have Internet access and want to register online, click the link in the window and complete the registration form on the MYOB website. When you have completed the online registration process, your registration codes and instructions for entering them will be sent back to you by email.

Every registration code provides access to all federal payroll tax forms. Depending on your needs, you can also register to process forms for a single state or for every state.

To enter Payroll Tax Forms registration codes

1	Go to the Payroll command center and click Prepare Payroll Tax Forms. The Select Payroll Tax Form window appears.

2	Click Register. The Registration window appears.

The Registration window displays the Federal Tax ID (EIN) entered in your company file. If you have already entered valid registration codes for this EIN, they will appear in the Reg Code list.

3	If you want to enter registration codes for a different EIN, enter that number in place of the one that is displayed.

4	Enter a registration code and then click Enter. The Reg Code list will display all of the forms to which you have access with the code you entered.

Repeat this step for each code you want to enter for this EIN.

5	If you need to enter a registration code for another EIN, repeat the above steps until you have entered all of your codes.

6	Click Done. The Select Payroll Tax Form window reappears.
