There are differences in the way Mac OS 9 and OS X work. If you have a network that includes both OS 9 and OS X computers, you must be extremely careful not to open your FirstEdge company file in both operating systems at once. If you do this, you run the risk of permanently corrupting your company file. In addition, you may not receive alert messages warning you that your company file may be corrupted beyond repair.
