The MYOB FirstEdge Restore command closes the company file you're currently using, decompresses an FirstEdge backup file so you can use it, and opens the decompressed file. If you want, you can use other software programs to decompress a backup instead of using the Restore command. Many other popular decompression programs will also restore your backup files.
