To choose a sales layout
The Sales window should be displayed, and a customer should already be selected.
The layout displayed in the Sales window is determined by the default setting on the customer's card.
- Click the Layout button to display the Select Layout window.
- Choose one of the following options:
Service - This layout can be used for services and goods that haven't been added to your Items List.
Item - This layout is used for items that you've added to your Items List. (These may be inventoried or non-inventoried items, as well as services.)
Professional - This layout is similar to the Service layout, but it allows you to specify a date for each line item.
Miscellaneous - This layout generally is used for quick transactions that involve no items and require no printed documentation.
- Click OK to return to the Sales window.
