Security

To create the master password

 

The Preferences window - Security view should be displayed.

  1. Click the Passwords button to open the Master Password window.


  2. Since you do not already have a master password and are creating one (not changing an existing one), the Existing Password field is blank and inactive.


  3. Enter the master password you wish to use in the New Password field. You can use any combination of letters and numbers up to 11 characters.


  4. Enter the master password again in the Confirm Password field.


  5. Click the Record button.
