The `Edit Details' version of the transaction window is also used to save recurring transaction details

If you clicked the Edit button in the Recurring Transactions List window, you opened the Edit Recurring Transaction Details window version of this transaction window.

While this window looks the same as the actual transaction window, you must use the Save button to save the details of the recurring transaction, rather than the Record button that is used to record the transaction.
