Locating the Upgrade Assistant


 

Note:  You do not need to upgrade if you've been using MYOB AccountEdge 2005

Your AccountEdge software includes an application, the Upgrade Assistant, that automatically upgrades your company file for use with AccountEdge.

Note:  Upgrade using the host computer

Note:  If you've used MYOB software older than MYOB AccountEdge v4

In the Finder, go to the folder in which AccountEdge is installed (most likely the Applications/MYOB/AccountEdge 2005 NE folder) and locate the Upgrade Assistant icon.

After you locate this icon, double-click it to start the Upgrade Assistant. Follow the instructions that appear. If you need additional information, click the Help button that appears on each window.
