To move a company file


 

MYOB AccountEdge 2005 requires that your company file is located in a specific folder on the host computer. This allows the workstations on the network to automatically find the company file when they connect to the host. Even if you plan to use AccountEdge only with the host computer, you must move your company file to this specific location.

Note: If you've used MYOB software older than MYOB AccountEdge v4

Warning:  Moving a company file may cause problems for other users

  1. In the Finder, locate the Library/Application Support/AccountEdge NE/Databases folder and open it.


  2. Open another Finder window. Inside this window, open the folder in which your company file resides.


  3. Click on the company file you wish to move, or shift-click multiple company files if you have more than one file to move.


  4. Drag the selected company files over to the Library/Application Support/AccountEdge NE/Databases folder and drop them.
