Changing the name of a company file may cause problems for other users

If you're using Premier Accounting on a network, don't forget that other users might need to access the company file whose name you plan to change.

• If others are using the company file, you should wait until they've closed the company file before you attempt to rename it. Renaming a company file while others are using it could damage the file.

• If necessary, inform other users that the company file's name has been changed. They'll need to know the new name if they want to open the file in the future.
