The Preferences window allows you to establish various settings that affect the entire Premier Accounting system.
The window has eight views. Use this view to allow the sale of inventoried items when the quantity of an inventoried item is greater than the MYOB Premier Accounting on-hand quantity. That is, allow negative inventory.
Important:
Negative on-hand quantities can be adjusted by purchasing or building sufficient quantities of the item.
Once the adjusting transactions have been recorded, neither the transactions attached to the negative sale nor the adjusting transactions can be changed, reversed or deleted.
Use this view to choose if you want to use the Standard Cost for items when entering purchases -- inventoried items or non-inventoried items.
