You can change the name of a company file at any time.

Changing the location of company files
You can move your MYOB Premier Accounting company file to another location at any time.
If you move a company file, you must also move your custom reports and forms to the new location. You should copy the current "Custom" and "Forms" folders in the location where the company file is currently stored and paste the folders into the new location.
