The field is named according to the type of transaction you're importing

The Identify xxx by field is available for most, but not all, types of data that you can import. Depending upon which kind of record you're importing, the field may be named:

• Identify Customers by (Sales and Receive Payments)

• Identify Records by (Cards)

• Identify Vendors by (Purchases and Pay Bills )

• Identify Cards by (Spend Money and Receive Money transactions)

• Identify Employees/Suppliers by (Activity Slips).
