Creating brands list

Brands can be associated to each item enabling you to track specific information for the item, can be used to identify an item in a report and can be used to filter item reports.

To create a brand

Go to the Lists menu and choose Brands. The Brands List window appears.

Click New. The Edit Brand window appears.

In the Brand field, enter an alphanumeric name or description of the brand.

Choose New to enter another Brand.

Click OK.

To associate a brand to an item

Go to the Inventory command center and click Items List. The Items List window appears.

Click the zoom arrow to the left of the item. The Item Information window appears.

Choose the Item Details tab.

Select the list entry you require from the appropriate brand list.

Click OK.

If you are using the Web Store feature, assigning a Brand to your items will make it easier for your customers to search for items on your Web Store.
