Using the Report Display feature

Use the Report Display feature to modify the look of individual reports by resizing columns and rearranging the fields. Click the Display button in the Index to Reports window to open the Report Display window.

The window has a toolbar which contains a View field, a Redisplay button and may also have a customize field(s).

• If you choose Report Display in the View field, you can resize columns and rearrange the fields of the report. If you switch to the Print Preview, you'll view the report as it would be printed.
  
  The " ^ " at the top of a column indicates that a column can be resized. To resize a column, using the mouse, move the cursor over the " ^ ". When the cursor changes to a double arrow, hold the mouse button down and drag the column to the size you want, then release the button.
  
  To move a field, using the mouse, move the cursor over the names of the fields. When the cursor changes to a "hand," hold the mouse button down and drag the field into the place on the report you want, then release the button.
• Click the Redisplay button to display the report with the latest information. Use the Redisplay button after you've changed a transaction while the report was displayed or after you've changed one of the filters for the report that is available on the toolbar.
• Depending upon each particular report, a customize field(s) may be available to enter a new date or date range or aging date, for example. Using these fields you can tayor the report to show the range of information that you wish.
