To use the layout grid

The Customize window for the form you want to modify must be open. [To customize a form (Setup menu) or To customize a form before printing]

  1. Click the Form Properties button in the toolbar to display the Forms Information window.


  2. Use the Grid Options on the Options tab to specify how the grid will appear and operate. Mark Show Grid to make the grid visible in the layout; mark Snap to Grid if you want to automatically align the top and left margins of every field with the closest grid lines. You can also increase or decrease space between the lines of the grid by selecting from the Grid Size menu.


Note:  The layout grid does not appear on printed forms

  1. Click OK to apply your grid settings to the Customize window.
