To update foreign currencies

Please note that this task requires that Multicurrency be set up. (Setting up MulticurrencySingle-user file locking)

The Currency List window should be displayed. (To find the Currency List window)

1. Highlight the currency you want to change and click the Edit button. The Currency Information window displays the information you've already entered about this currency.



2. To update the exchange rate, click the Currency Profile tab and enter the new rate in the Exchange Rate field. Keep in mind that your entry here should reflect the number of U.S. dollars that one unit of this currency -- one French franc, for example -- will buy, and the number of French francs one unit of U.S. dollars will buy. Verify these quantities in the fields to the right of the exchange rate.



3. Review the other information you've entered for this currency to be sure it's current. When you're satisfied with your entries, click OK.
