Your AccountEdge software provides all the features necessary to prepare and print certified copies of Forms W-2 and W-3 at the end of your payroll year. If you register for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service, you can also prepare and print hundreds of state and federal payroll forms using information extracted from your AccountEdge company file.
The payroll forms that you prepare using AccountEdge can be filed in several formats, depending on the type of form and the requirements of the state and federal authorities with which you must file. This means you can distribute official, printed forms -- such as W-2s -- to your employees, and you can also mail or electronically file forms with the federal government and any state agencies to which you are required to report payroll tax information.
Registering for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service streamlines the processes of preparing, printing and filing all of your federal and state payroll tax forms. When you register for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service, you gain access to an array of features that allow you to complete and print certified copies of all of your state and federal payroll tax forms directly from MYOB AccountEdge.
If you prefer to have someone from another company (such as your accountant or a representative from your payroll service) prepare these forms for you, you can obtain a multi-company registration. This will give both you and your preparer access to all of your payroll tax forms and the data they contain through your MYOB AccountEdge software.

Forms 1099 and 1096 cannot be prepared or filed using the MYOB Payroll Forms Service
If you're registered to use the MYOB Payroll Forms Service, AccountEdge will remind you to update your out-of-date forms on a quarterly basis. Even if you aren't registered, the latest software updates are always available to you. If you have an Internet connection, you'll be notified whenever a new version of the Payroll Tax Forms system is ready to download. If you click Update Now in the alert box, the update will be installed automatically on your computer.

If you have registered with MYOB to eFile payroll tax forms, you will also be able to file your payroll tax forms electronically using AccountEdge. If you want to eFile any payroll tax form -- including W-2s and W-3s -- using AccountEdge, you must register separately for MYOB's Payroll Tax Forms eFile services.
