MYOB's Payroll Tax Forms features allow you to stop working on any form before it's complete. If you stop work on a payroll tax form at any stage of preparation, you can save that form as a draft and return to complete it at your convenience.
The Payroll Tax Forms program will prompt you to save or discard any changes whenever you close an incomplete payroll tax form in the Payroll Tax Form Viewer.
All draft payroll tax forms that you save are available through the Saved Forms window. The easiest way to access your saved forms is to click Saved Forms at the bottom of the Select Payroll Tax Form window. Clicking this button displays the complete list of draft forms in the Saved Forms window. Your saved drafts are displayed in chronological order, with the most recently saved drafts at the top of the list.
You can also work on draft copies of payroll tax forms when you click Display on the Select Payroll Tax Forms window. If there is a draft copy of the form you've selected, you will be prompted to either choose the draft or start work on a new copy of that form. If you start a new form, the new draft will replace the existing one.
Working with completed forms
Payroll tax forms are saved automatically whenever you choose to eFile or Print & Mail the completed version from the Payroll Tax Form Viewer. Because you will probably need to refer to your completed forms from time to time, they are available through the Saved Forms window. This allows you to correct a form that was filed with an error, or to reprint a form that was lost or damaged. Completed forms are indicated by a check mark in the "Completed" column in the Saved Forms list.
You can't revise a payroll tax form once it has been completed, but you can work on copies of completed forms by selecting the completed form from the list in the Saved Forms window. Whenever you choose a completed form from the list, the Payroll Tax Forms program will create a copy of the finalized form for you to edit.
If you stop work on a copy of a completed form before the copy is final, you can then save that copy as a draft. The Saved Forms window will display both the completed copy and the edited draft.
