Company Data Auditor
Company File Overview
The Company Data Auditor provides a high level integrity check of the data contained in your MYOB Company File. This provides you and your accountant with added assurance of the integrity of the data.
The Overview presents a compilation of basic information about your company file:
- File Name: The company file name as stored, when the company file was created.
- Release: The version number of the company file.
- Location: The physical location of the company file (for example: C:\folder1\folder2)
- Size: The physical size of the company file in Kilobytes.
- Last Backup Date: The date the company file was last backed up.
Click the Backup button that is to the right of this field to open the MYOB AccountEdge Company File Backup window, where you initiate the backup process. (Backing up company files)
- Last Verified Date: The date the company file was last verified.
Click the Verify button that is to the right of this field to initiate the verification process. (Verifying company files)
- Current Fiscal Year End: The last month in your current fiscal year.
- Locked Periods: The period for which, and prior to which, no transactions can be entered. This selection was made in the Security view of the Preferences window.
Click the Lock Periods button that is to the right of this field to open the Security view of the Preferences window, where you can make or change the lock period selection.
- Payroll Tax Tables Date: The date of the tax table that has been installed. This field is inactive if you have not initialized your payroll feature.
Click the Load Tax Tables button that is to the right of this field to open the Load Tax Tables windows, where you can install current federal and state payroll tax information into your MYOB AccountEdge Payroll system, or to update outdated payroll tax information with new tax tables provided by MYOB US.
