Changing the location of company files
- AccountEdge: You can move your MYOB AccountEdge company file to another location on your network at any time.
Warning: Moving a company file may cause problems for other users
- AccountEdge Network Edition: MYOB AccountEdge 2006 requires that your company file is located in a specific folder, the Library/Application Support/AccountEdge NE/Databases folder, on the host computer. This allows the workstations on the network to automatically find the company file when they connect to the host computer. Even if you plan to use AccountEdge only with the host computer, your company file must exist in this specific folder. As a result, you should not move your company file from this location.
If, for some reason, your company file is currently not located in this folder (for example, if you used the file with a previous version of MYOB software), use the procedure below to move it to its required location.
