Handling a sale to a customer who has been placed on credit hold


You can place a customer on credit hold if the currently past due amount reaches a certain amount or has lasted a certain period of time, even though the amount may not exceed the credit limit. If you do this, an alert message will appear when you begin to enter an invoice for that customer.

You can remove the hold and proceed with the sale only if you have access to the Credit Limit and Hold window. (Creating and using user IDs)
