To handle a sale when a customer exceeds the credit limit
If a customer has exceeded or is about to exceed the credit limit, you may see an alert while entering a new sale for that customer. (See Handling a sale to a customer who has exceeded the credit limit to understand why the message appears.) If this happens, you have two options:
- Record the new invoice despite the credit limit status. Click the Continue button.
If you received the Customer's credit limit has been exceeded message, you return to the Sales window, where you can resume entering the sale and record the sale.
If you received the Customer's credit limit will be exceeded message, the sale is recorded.

- Cancel the sale. Click the Cancel Sale button.
