To change a user ID's access rights
The Preferences window - Security view should be displayed.
Note: How User IDs were handled in MYOB software previous to AccountEdge v4 (2004) or AccountEdge Network Edition (2004)
Note: If you used a password in MYOB software previous to AccountEdge v4 (2004) or AccountEdge Network Edition (2004)
- Click the Passwords button. This button is only available if you're signed on to AccountEdge with the User ID named Administrator. The User Access window appears.
- Highlight the user ID you want to change in the User ID column.
- Make the changes you want on the right side of the window by clicking in the Not Allowed column. A checkmark will appear next to the functions you wish to restrict for this user ID.
- Click OK.
