To stop the FileConnect system preference on the host computer (Network Edition)

 

Once FileConnect is running on the host computer, you should have little reason to ever turn it off. If you do wish to turn off FileConnect, follow the steps below. Keep in mind that you will not be able to access your AccountEdge company file if FileConnect is not running.

  1. Open the FileConnect control panel by launching the System Preferences application from the dock and click the AccountEdge icon.


  2. In the control panel, click the button labeled Stop FileConnect to turn FileConnect off. After a moment, the text on the button will change to Start FileConnect, which indicates that FileConnect is no longer running.


    Note:  If FileConnect does not stop (Network Edition)
