Timesheets can be used to track activity slip hours and used for payroll. Activity slip hours appear on timesheets and activity slips can be created from timesheets. Despite this relationship, activity slips and timesheets must be imported or exported separately.
When you import or export timesheets, only the entries that don't have activity slips associated with them are included.
When you import or export activity slips, all slips -- whether or not their hours are on a timesheet, -- are included.
If you purge activity slips and timesheets: The process for importing and exporting activity slips and timesheets is different from that for purging activity slips and timesheets. When you purge a timesheet, any activity slips on the timesheet are purged. When you purge activity slips, any slips with hours on timesheets are not purged.
