Purging activity slips and Purging timesheets

There are some restrictions on which activity slips and timesheets will be purged when you go through the purge process. There are also ways activity slips and timesheets interact that affect how they purge:

You can purge activity slips that haven't been billed on invoices.

If you've billed an activity slip on an invoice, you can purge that activity slip only if the invoice on which it was billed has been purged.

You can purge a timesheet only if an employee payment for the timesheet's hours has been made using Process Payroll.

If you purge activity slips, any slips with hours on timesheets are not purged. You must purge timesheets to purge those activity slips.

If you purge a timesheet, any activity slips on the timesheet are also purged (only if an employee payment for the timesheet's hours has been made using Process Payroll).

Note: The process for purging activity slips and timesheets is different from that for importing or exporting activity slips and timesheets. When you import or export timesheets, only the entries that don't have activity slips associated with them are included. All activity slips, with or without hours on timesheets, are included when you import or export activity slips. (Importing and exporting timesheets and activity slips)
