If you've registered for MYOB's Payroll Forms eFile Service, you can use AccountEdge to electronically transmit Forms W-2 and W-3 to the appropriate government agencies at tax time. When you transmit completed W-2 and W-3 forms for eFiling, the MYOB eFiling service will file all copies of the forms with the appropriate federal and state offices, and will send printed copies of your W-2s to each of your employees. You must have an Internet connection to eFile any forms, including Forms W-2 and W-3.
Confirmation of eFiling
You will receive two email confirmations for each Form W-2 or W-3 that you eFile successfully. The first email message should confirm that the forms were received on the MYOB Payroll Tax Forms eFile server. The second message should confirm that the forms you submitted have been processed and sent to the appropriate government agencies.

Contact MYOB eFile Support if you don't receive filing confirmations in a timely manner
Even if you file electronically, you should always print copies of completed Forms W-2 and W-3 before you close the current payroll year and begin a new one. You should also make a point of backing up your AccountEdge company file after printing these forms and before closing the year. Once the year is closed, detailed payroll information is no longer available for that year and W-2 forms and other reports can't be printed. If you've made a backup, however, you can restore that backup and print the necessary documents.
