Reports and forms

To eFile payroll forms (except W-2 and W-3)


 

You must be registered with MYOB's Payroll Tax Forms eFile service to eFile any forms other than the W-2 and W-3. If you are registered, the eFile option will be available at the top of the Payroll Form Viewer when you have finished the preparation process for your forms.

Note:  Forms 1099 and 1096 cannot be prepared or filed using the MYOB Payroll Forms Service

  1. Click Saved in the Select Payroll Tax Form window. (To start working on a new payroll tax form)


  2. In the Open Report window, click the checkbox next to the draft form that you are ready to eFile. (The Open Report window displays every draft payroll tax form that you have saved at any point in the preparation process unless you've deleted unneeded forms from the list.) Then click Edit to continue working on the form at the point where you last saved it. (If you have completed the form, a copy will be created for you to work on.)


  3. Specify special filing information for the particular form you selected in the windows and alerts that display. When your specifications are complete, click OK or Continue to open the selected form in the Payroll Form Viewer window.


  4. If any fields on the form need your attention, they will be highlighted in red. Enter required information by typing directly into the highlighted fields. You will not be able to eFile your form until you have provided all missing information. (To link payroll category items to fields on a form)


  5. When your form is ready for processing, click Print to begin printing your records copy ("My Copy"). Then click Next Step.


    Important:
    You must print Forms W-2 and W-3, and 1099 and 1096, before closing a payroll year
  1. Click eFile.


  2. When the eFile Login dialog displays, enter your eFile Username and Password in the designated fields.


    If you have not yet enrolled in MYOB Payroll Forms eFiling, click Enrollment to start this process. (To register to eFile payroll tax forms)
  1. Click Login to start the eFiling process.


  2. A dialog box will display information about the electronic version of the form you're eFiling. When you've finished reading this information, click OK to start the eFile wizard.


  3. Enter your MYOB Payroll Forms eFile Password and click Next.


  4. Enter your credit card information in the Credit Card Information window.


    If don't want to retype your credit card information every time you eFile a payroll tax form, mark the Remember CC Info box. The Payroll Tax Forms system will insert your credit card information in the correct fields automatically the next time you eFile.
  1. The Billing Address window displays the billing information you entered when you enrolled for eFiling. If you need to change this information, enter your changes in the appropriate fields.


  2. Click OK to begin eFiling your form. You are returned to the Select Payroll Tax Form window as your form is sent to the eFile server.


    When your form has been successfully received and processed, you will receive confirmations of each transaction via email.

    Contact MYOB eFile Support if you don't receive filing confirmations in a timely manner
