Using this window, make a selection that determines how your Premier Accounting Cards List and Outlook contact information will be synchronised. There are additional setup options in the Synchronize Cards Settings window, which you can open by clicking the Settings button.

When you have made all your settings selections, start the synchronization by choosing to export your MYOB Cards to Outlook or import Outlook contacts into your MYOB Cards List.

Notes: Once your settings have been used for a sync session, they will be remembered for future sync sessions. Each time you start MYOB Outlook Synch, please ensure your settings are correct.

To close this window without continuing with the sync process, click the box in the upper right corner of the window.

Export MYOB Cards to Micorosft Outlook...

Click the right arrow icon to read the cards in your Premier Accounting Cards List and export all changes to your Outlook Contacts according to the settings you've selected:

Mark the Allow the transfer of Inactive MYOB Cards to Outlook checkbox if you want your inactive Premier Accounting cards included in the export to Outlook.

Import Micorosft Outlook Contacts into MYOB...

Click the left arrow icon to read the contacts in Outlook and import all changes to your Premier Accounting Cards List according to the settings you've selected:

Update Rules

In some cases, your existing MYOBCards List and Outlook Contact list will contain matching names. Outlook Sync can manage matches in one of three ways:

• Update existing contacts. Select this option -- the one we recommend to make contact management simple -- to update any matching Cards and Contacts with the latest details, in addition to adding new cards/contacts.

• Do not update existing contacts. Select this option to only add new cards/contacts, not update existing cards/contacts with changes.

• Ask me to confirm any updates. Select this option if you want to be asked, during the synchronization process, what action to take each time there is a matching Card/Contact in the destination location with different details.

Click this button to open the Synchronize Cards Settings window where you can make additional selections prior to starting the synchronization process.
