Note: This feature is active only if MS Outlook 2003 is installed on your system.
Once your settings have been used for a sync session, they will be remembered for future sync sessions. Each time you start a sync session, please ensure your settings are correct.
The Synchronize Cards window allows you to choose the card types you want synchronized with Outlook contacts.
When you synchronize, you can:
Synchronize from Premier Accounting to Microsoft Outlook (exporting):
Synchronize from Microsoft Outlook to Premier Accounting (importing):
In the subsequent windows in this process, you will choose which of these results you want.
When you synchronize from your Cards List to Outlook, all the cards you select are updated or added to Outlook in the corresponding MYOB Customer, MYOB Vendor, MYOB Employee or MYOB Personal folders. These Outlook folders are created if they don't already exist.
You will have the option to transfer your cards to the default Outlook Contacts folder, which is the location required for sharing with a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) using the Outlook Sync Settings window.
We recommend that you back up your MYOB company file before each synchronization; we also recommend that you back up your Outlook data.
