The W-2 Preparer Settings window - W3 Information view allows you to modify or add to the information that will appear on the Form W-3 that corresponds to the currently displayed W-2 forms. Most of this information is not required on Form W-3, but you will not be able to print official forms or eFile your Form W-3 if any of the required information is missing. (Data fields on Form W-3)
The W3 Information view is one of three views of the W-2 Preparer Settings window. Each view provides options for modifying the information that you entered when you set up the W-2 forms displayed in the W-2 Form Preparer. The other two views of the W-2 Preparer Settings window are:
If you entered information on the Set Up W-3 Form window when you began preparing your W-2s and W-3, some of that information may appear in the W3 Information view when you open the W-2 Preparer Settings window. You can use the W3 Information view to add to or change this information if needed. Your entries in any view of the W-2 Preparer Settings window appear only on the W-2s and the related W-3 that you are currently working on in the W-2 Form Preparer window, however. You cannot change any of the information in your MYOB Premier Accounting company file by using this window.
