To remove elements from a form

The Customize window for the form you want to modify should be displayed. See To customize a form for instructions.

1. To remove a text field, line, rectangle or picture, select the element and press BACKSPACE or DELETE on your keyboard.
2. To remove a copy of a data field, select the element and press BACKSPACE or DELETE on your keyboard. You cannot remove the original data field that appeared on the form when you began customizing it, but you can inactivate the data field if you like. (To inactivate a data field on a form)
3. Click OK to close the Customize window.
