A Basic item has no variations. A master item is the main item used to create variations. Variation is an item created from a master item.
When items are combined, the non-transaction item information for the primary item—such as item name, number, and buying and selling details—is retained as the default information for the combined item. The transaction details for the secondary item are added to the primary item. Non-transaction information for the secondary card is deleted.
